About This Blog

This blog was created for 2 principle reasons.

1 – To have an online presence that would help support and enhance my gallery site Brad Mangas Photography (bradmangasphotography.com).

2 – A way of staying in touch with my passion for the craft of nature photography. Try as I may not everyday is spent in the field creating fine art nature photos. But everyday does encompass a closeness and passion for nature and photography.

So what can you expect to find here? Primarily photographs. Some that are also available at the gallery and some that are shared just because it’s what I love to do. Equally important you can expect to find my thoughts put down in type on subjects. Ranging from the how’s and why’s of creating the images to the personal thoughts and feelings I am so fortunate to experience in my daily life.

I have been blessed with a passion for all things nature. From the smallest of insects that can be so bothersome, to the vast views of the rolling flint hills and open prairies. These are the fuels that feed a fire burning deep in my soul. My hope is that I will regularly share these sources of fuel so you may also experience the love of all things nature.
